Ljudi teže većoj ugodnosti, većem prostoru za sebe, lakšoj pokretljivosti, osećaju da imaju veće mogućnosti. To je moderni potrošački projekat i tome teže sva moderna društva. Glavna je oznaka politike i ekonomije što potrošačke težnje nisu ozbiljno osporene. Sa druge strane, zvanična poruka koja se podrazumeva glasi 'Ostanite gde jeste, mi ćemo isporučiti šta treba'. Glavna parola je brutalno jednostavna: VIŠE!

Anarhizam je ideja da niko nije kvalifikovaniji od tebe lično, da odluči kako će tvoj život da izgleda.
Anarhizam znači imati poštovanja prema životu... ne samo ka ljudima, već i zemlji, životinjama...
Anarhizam znači igrati igru života za sve njene uspone i padove, a ne samo za trofej posle smrti.
Anarhizam zahteva da kreiraš svoj lični moral i mišljenje o miru, i pravdi, radije nego da koristiš biblijski moralni kod na koji se većina društva oslanja.
Anarhizam je politička filozofija koja traži društvo u kom svaka individua ima najveći mogući izbor po pitanju toga kako će voditi svoj život.
Neke od osnovnih ideja anarhizma su:
-ukidanje postojanja novca
-ukidanje obaveznog školovanja
-besplatno školstvo u kom su student i profesor ravnopravni i uče jedan od drugog
-zamena zatvora prinudnim radom
-ukidanje postojanja država i granica, te rsčlanjavanje zemlje na ogroman broj malih automnih regiona
-ukidanje klasnih razlika bogati/siromašni
-potpuna ravnopravnost za svakoga
-ne postojanje formalnog autoriteta

Anarhizam dakle propagira oslobadjanje od bilo kakvih društvenih normi i pravila propisanih od strane drugih, te odabir kodeksa koje ćemo pratiti zato što mislimo da su ispravni, a ne jer je tako propisano. Manje vrednovanje samog novca i materijalnog posedovanja a veće iskustva kroz koje prolazimo. Uklanjanje svih predrasuda.
Samo. Žena Vinstona Čerčila jednom se žalila da ovaj mnogo pije. Čerčil je odgovorio da je više od alkohola uspeo da izvuče, nego što je ovaj uspeo da izvuče od njega. Isto je i sa idejom anarhizma, nijedna ideja, koliko god da je savršena, nije dobra ako smo rob iste. Tako da i od anarhizma treba gledati izvući više nego što on od nas.
